Susan picked up the guitar as a child. Her signature 12-string Alvarez guitar was a gift from her siblings - a gift which has continued to bless others through rowdy campfire songs, loving wedding tunes, holy liturgy and praise, touching funeral hymns and soft lullabies.

She enjoys the technical side of the industry as well, engineering all her own studio work.
