Lucious Newsom
INDIANAPOLIS MISSIONARY
Lucious moved to Indianapolis at the age of 70 to begin a new ministry feeding the poorest of the poor.

Susan Jansen and her family volunteered frequently at his mission, The Lord's Pantry. They became friends and she eventually recorded Lucious singing several of his favorite old time Christian hymns as a fundraiser for his works.
She recalls, "We were meeting one afternoon and the Spirit seemed to whisper into my ear...'if this man ever left the face of the earth, and no one had captured that booming, loving voice, what a shame it would be.'"
